The WVU Jackson County Extension Office will be holding a Dining with Diabetes class for people with Type 2 Diabetes and/or their caregivers. If you have Diabetes and would like to learn more about how to manage the disease better, OR if you cook for someone with Diabetes and would like to learn more about how to prepare delicious and healthy meals, join us! Heck, come together and call it a date night. We will not only learn about healthy recipes, we will sample them too!
The classes will take place on Tuesdays in April:
April 4 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.
April 11 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.
April 18 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.
April 25 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.
There will also be a follow-up class at a future date (around the first week in July).
All classes will take place at the Sandyville Senior Center.
To register, call the Extension Office at 372-8199. There is NO cost to attend. PLEASE register ahead of time so that we can know how much sample food to prepare. Thanks!
